We are delighted to have in this beautiful Louis Vuitton Alma MM Handbag in Monogram.
The first Louis Vuitton Alma hit the streets in 1934. A statement of Art Deco glamour, with the same name and lines as a Parisian bridge. It was an instant hit, and still after all this time is one of Louis Vuittons most sought after styles of handbag.
This handbag is a 1990’s Alma, meaning it just crossed over from “pre loved” into “vintage” territory.
The vintage Alma differs very little from the current Alma, aside from the fact that a new/current Alma would set you back £1,400 currently. So at £645- this is a fair price for something that’s fast approaching a collectors item. As you well know, Louis Vuitton is an investment and one that currently keeps climbing in value.
A true credit to Louis Vuitton craftsmanship, this handbag boasts character and charm and it’s one to treasure.
A perfect sized handbag, with room for your everyday essentials and one to pack the “wow factor” as after all, not everyone can justify the expense of a Louis Vuitton.
We recommend viewing this bag in person before purchasing. It’s available in our morpeth store within Sanderson arcade.
This is a vintage handbag, and is in pre loved condition, with water marks and marks to the leather and hardwares as expected for its age. The lining has slightly come undone at one section to the zip, but is repairable. It is missing the key and the lock is attached to the handle for this reason.
This Alma is in Monogram Canvas, Louis vuittons most popular choice. Monogram canvas is made from woven cotton, coated in PVC, making it water resistant and hard wearing, and this has certainly stood the test of time so far. The canvas is hand stitched to tan leather, giving it its rigid feel and the handbag is finished with gold hardwares.
All elements of the bag show signs of use and time, so we highly encourage viewing in person prior to buying.
