The Hermes Lindy was released on the spring/summer runway of 2007, and was an instant hit. The Lindy sky rocketed to popularity faster than any other Hermes handbag design has, and is renown despite only being on the market for a short time in comparison to the likes of the Bolide and the Birkin.
Handcrafted and unmistakably well made, The Hermes Lindy has curved edges, a slouchy body and is sure to finish off your outfits with an “effortlessly chic” look. A sought after, luxury handbag that’s both recognised by fashionistas and collectors, yet still remains an understated handbag.
This particular Lindy, is a 2007 example, in Taurillon Clemence leather in shade Blue Jean, a gorgeous bright blue hue, that will lift any outfit and catch the eye of everyone!
Taurillom Clemence leather is a leather developed by Hermes for luggage, the ultimate example of a grained leather that has been drummed, softening the skin and bringing a generous grain to the surface.
Taurillon Clemence leather has a semi Matt appearance, with an irregular grain and a soft and supple feel.
Complete with Palladium hardwares, showing some age related scuffs and marks, but nothing major (see images above or contact us for further images)
The Lindy 30 is 30cm x 20cm height and 15cm depth.
This particular example does show some minor cracking to the handles, a common find in pre loved Lindy’s due to the design of having to pull the handles apart to open the handbag.
Complete with original Hermes dustbag and authentication.
